Participants may be eligible to earn three graduate credits for this workshop.
This workshop is a step by guide to designing a problem based unit. You begin by selecting standards and end with the final presentation. We guide you every step of the way using the Core 21 planning model. Synergy and Synthesis for Teaching in the 21st Century, written by the instructors provides a detailed description of each step and a perfect model for transforming your curriculum in 21st century units of instruction. Upon completion of this workshop you will have a unit ready for immediate implementation in your classroom.
All participants will receive a certificate of completion for 45 clock hours of professional development.
Please note that to get graduate credit from SUNY Buffalo State you must either be enrolled in their International Graduate Program for Educators or you must have applied and been approved for non-degree graduate credit.
